Saves You Time
Women spend approximately 1,728 hours of their lives shaving. On average, people shave 1–3 times per week, whereas, we recommend our clients get waxed every 4–6 weeks. Wax removes hair directly from the root, so it takes longer to grow back. In the time you would spend shaving, you could hit that snooze button a few more times!
Avoid Razor Burn
When you shave, you don't remove all the hair—you just cut it close to where it grows. Repetitive razor usage can twist or redirect the hair follicle. The change in direction can leave the hair trapped under your skin, increasing the presence of ingrown hairs, or “razor burn.” Waxing removes the hair directly from the follicle, decreasing your chance of getting ingrown hairs.
No More Cactus Feeling
Shaving cuts the hair right below the skin's surface, causing a prickly cactus-like feeling days, or even hours, after shaving. Not only does waxing remove the hair directly from the root, it provides physical skin exfoliation and removes dead surface cells. When your hair does grow back after waxing, it will grow back weaker, finer, softer and sparser.
