Who are we?

The House of Wax Day Spa is a premier waxing salon in Glenview, specializing in waxing and facials. We aim to keep our guests smooth and beautiful from top to bottom with our award-winning services— from full body waxing and lash & brow tinting to a range of nourishing facials.

As a family-run small business, we take great pride in the operation we’ve built and the services we provide. After over a decade serving the greater Chicago area, we have gained a long and loyal following because our clients recognize our emphasis on sanitation and the great effort we put into our work.

History

For the House of Wax owner, Paulina Youkhanna and her sister Norma, waxing has always been a lifestyle. At a very young age, the sisters were taught to wax by their mother, who used to wax as well. The sisters practiced on each other for years, perfecting their waxing skills. After graduating high school, Paulina entered the salon industry, and a few years later Norma did as well. In 2006, after over fifteen years working at both corporate and privately owned salons, Paulina invested her life savings, and the sisters began the journey to opening the House of Wax Day Spa. After 9 years in Morton Grove, the House of Wax outgrew its original home. In 2016, the House of Wax moved to its current home in Glenview.
