Safety Guidelines

At the House of Wax, sanitation has always been and will continue to be our #1 priority. Especially with the ongoing effects of COVID-19, we want to ensure our clients feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

As of February 28, 2022, Illinois has removed the indoor mask mandate. We are no longer requiring masks to be worn in the salon or during your appointment.

If you prefer your esthetician wear a mask during your appointment, please do not hesitate to ask or let our receptionist know when scheduling.

If you have experienced ANY COVID-19 symptoms, please do not hesitate to call and reschedule your appointment.

As an establishment, we will be practicing UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 with continuous disinfection and sterilization procedures. This includes the following:

1) Use of hospital grade disinfectant to clean all surfaces between clients.

2) Sterilizing all tools before and after use.

3) Single use and disposable items when possible.

4) Protective gloves during services.
